Islington–City Centre West
Etobicoke’s centre: subway at both ends, towers along Bloor and large quiet lots behind them.

Homes for sale in Islington–City Centre West
256 on the market now — each with its school boundaries, sale history and what comparable homes actually sold for.
What it is like
This is a broad area covering the Six Points interchange, the Islington and Kipling subway districts and the residential streets around them. Housing runs from high-rise apartments and newer condominiums along Bloor Street West to substantial detached homes on wide lots in the pockets north and south — some of the largest frontages available anywhere on the Toronto subway.
Getting around
Line 2 Bloor–Danforth ends at Kipling, with Islington station one stop east. Kipling is a full regional hub: GO on the Milton line, MiWay buses from Mississauga and the TTC all interchange there. Highways 427 and the Gardiner are both immediately accessible.
Things to see and do
Islington Village is known for its murals — a long series of painted scenes of local history along Dundas Street West. Echo Valley and Tom Riley parks give ravine walking, and the Humber River trail system is a short distance east. Centennial Park to the north has skiing, a conservatory and sports fields.
Shops, restaurants and work
Dundas Street West through Islington Village is the traditional main street. Bloor Street West carries the newer retail around the stations, and the office towers at Islington and Bloor make this Etobicoke’s business centre.
