Moss Park
Downtown east, where Victorian rowhouses, postwar social housing and new towers sit within a block of each other.

Homes for sale in Moss Park
228 on the market now — each with its school boundaries, sale history and what comparable homes actually sold for.
What it is like
One of the most mixed areas in the city by both housing type and income. Nineteenth-century rowhouses on the side streets, the Moss Park apartment towers, the Regent Park redevelopment on the northeastern edge, and a steady run of new condominium towers along Queen, Shuter and Jarvis. Prices vary more street to street here than almost anywhere in Toronto, and the area is changing quickly enough that recent comparable sales matter more than usual.
Getting around
The 501 Queen and 505 Dundas streetcars cross east-west, and the 75 Sherbourne and 94 Wellesley buses run north-south. Line 1 at Queen and Dundas is a short walk or ride west, and Line 2 at Sherbourne and Castle Frank is to the north. Union Station is close enough to walk from the southern end.
Things to see and do
Moss Park itself is the open space, with the armoury beside it. Regent Park has the aquatic centre, the athletic grounds and the arts and cultural centre, all open to the wider public and all newer than most facilities in the city. St Lawrence Market is a short walk south, and Allan Gardens and the Village are to the north.
Shops, restaurants and work
Queen East and Jarvis carry the retail, and the area sits between the St Lawrence Market district and the Church-Wellesley Village, both walkable. Employment is downtown: the Financial District, the hospitals and the universities are all within a few kilometres.
